Stephanie+Graham

Stephanie and Graham have known each other for 13 years. They met in high school, became best friends, got engaged, moved to several different cities, grew closer even when life kept them apart, and this October became Mr& Mrs! Stephanie’s family spent many wonderful days in the Lake Delton area vacationing and making memories. Graham often joined them, making  the Dells area a special place for Stephanie and Graham. They decided to hold their wedding at Vennebu Hills, a beautifully renovated barn in Lake Delton.

Living out of town always makes wedding planning a bit trickier, add in busy lives, going back to school, working and you realize planning a wedding is a big job, and it is great to have help. Stephanie and Graham hired me in the early spring of 2019. We met in person initially, then corresponded via phone calls and email. We created several Google Docs to keep track of details. When the big day arrived Stephanie had beautiful decor that she gave me basic details for, and sweetly trusted me to decorate the reception area, allowing her to relax and enjoy her wedding day preparations with her bridesmaids and family.

In addition to setting up the decor, some of the other tasks I managed were:

  • Coordinated with Vendors
  • Assisted at their rehearsal
  • Kept the timeline for the day
  • Greeting and assisting vendors
  • Creating the delicious doughnut display
  • Organizing the Procession/Recession
  • One of my favorites, pinning boutonnieres

There were many special moments from the sweet, sometimes tearful ceremony under the old barn beams and giant crystal chandelier, to the joy of having friends and family celebrating with Stephanie and Graham as they thrilled at becoming husband and wife.
