A wedding, New Years Eve, and a little Vegas. How could a Bride and Groom create a more amazing night?

Aubrey and Jessy threw just such a party on New Year’s Eve 2019 at the elegant Park Hotel on the Square in downtown Madison. It was a glamorous, festive night!

As the delightful music of the Pecatonica String Quartet filled the room, Aubrey and Jessy held their wedding ceremony with friends and family looking on. The room was decorated with candles, winter white flowers, gold and navy details, and an altar of draped gauze and twinkling lights.

For fun, with a nod to living in Las Vegas, Jessy and Aubrey brought a little Vegas with them to Madison. They treated their guests to a Vegas themed cocktail  hour after their ceremony, complete with gaming tables and black jack dealers.

After cocktail hour guests were directed to the spectacular Top of the Park  for dinner. The room’s 180-degree views included breathtaking glimpses of the city, with its festive holiday lights and the Capitol glowing in the dark. It was a space like no other! Fantastic food, loving speeches, dancing and midnight toasts capped a wedding night to remember!

We met in person in the summer of 2019, and then communicated via email, conference calls and text, since Aubrey was planning her Madison wedding from Las Vegas. Aubrey has family in Madison who were vital to planning and local details. We created Google Docs to keep everyone up to date on the progress.

Some of the coordinating I did for Aubrey and Jessy was:

  • Working with and coordinating their vendors
  • Attending and assisting at their rehearsal
  • Setting up decor the day  before and the day of the wedding
  • Keeping the timeline for the day
  • Moving decor from ceremony to dinner
  • Securing cards and gifts
  • Acting as personal assistant to the Bride and Groom
  • My favorite, pinning boutonnieres and corsages
